1. Collection and Use of Personal Information

StrideCoach collects and uses data as follows to provide gait analysis and ranking services:

• Gait Analysis Data (Local): Apple AirPods motion data and the resulting gait analysis are stored only on the user's device. This data is not transmitted to our servers, even for statistical purposes or service improvements.
• Ranking Registration Data (Server): When a user selects the 'Register for Ranking' feature and presses the confirm button, the following information is transmitted to and stored on the server to provide ranking and comparison services:
  • Collected Items: User identifier (Session ID or Nickname), running records (time, distance, pace, etc.), and gait metrics necessary for ranking calculation.
  • Purpose of Use: Operation of the real-time ranking system and providing record comparison services between users.

2. Location Information Protection Policy

The app collects GPS location information to track running routes and measure distance.

• Storage: In principle, all detailed location information (GPS logs) is stored only on the user's local device.
• Ranking Service Use: When registering for rankings, approximate 'city-level' regional information may be included for statistical and regional ranking purposes. However, detailed addresses or real-time movement paths are never transmitted to the server.

3. Advertising Information

StrideCoach utilizes advertising networks such as Google AdMob, Facebook Audience Network, and Unity Ads. These networks may collect device information (such as Advertising IDs) to provide customized advertisements.

• Ads are an essential element for providing this app as a free service.
• Advertisements can be removed through a one-time purchase or subscription.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

• Local Data: All running and gait data stored on the device is automatically and immediately deleted when the app is uninstalled.
• Server Data (Ranking): Data registered in the ranking system is retained for the duration of the service operation. Users who wish to delete their ranking data may request deletion through the app settings or by contacting [email protected].

5. Third-Party Provision and Sharing

StrideCoach does not, in principle, share or sell users' personal data to third parties.

• Note: By using the ranking system, you agree that your records (nickname, performance metrics, etc.) may be disclosed to other users within the service.
